I have been sourcing and selling traditional Zulu beaded jewellery, clay pots and other handcrafted items for the past few years. I trade as 'Be Creative'. It humbly started when I held an open day at my mother-in-law's retirement complex on the very day that Bafana Bafana played the opening match of the Fifa 2010 soccer Games in South Africa. The residents were wonderfully supportive and at the end of that day my mum-in-law said to me, "I think you have a business." Little did we know... Be Creative has steadily grown from strength to strength. This blog has arisen from the numerous requests for more information about the products and the crafters themselves.
